Apropos the Article Not Too Swatch a Bharat(May8,ET), Corruption, Corrupt practices and Black money continue to plague the economy, taking away all the charm and support of many who have entertained and dreamt of India becoming a superpower by 2047. No doubt, the economy has all the potential and resources to be the super power and the tempo generated so far should be kept alive to achieve the target. Political stability attained during the last decade and the technological development witnessed particularly in digital growth have given ample scope for the country to plan for revolutionary changes in the economic and social development for which though seeds have been sown but more efforts and hard measures need to be effectively attempted and implemented with result oriented governance to realise a wonderful harvest. All said the economic growth envisaged and encouraged by all means is a possible achievement as people aspire for a quality and better dignified life. Readiness is visible and hence these hurdles in the form of corruption, corrupt practices and black money cannot spoil sport. The need of the hour is strong administration, accountability and punishment for the lapses can work wonders. Since corruption and corrupt practices have no acceptability among the public being the ground reality, it should not be difficult to tackle this menace if there is a political will and public cooperation.
May Noble thoughts and actions come from everywhere.Loka Samastha SukhinoBhavanthu.
